APRIL 2022
A NOTE FROM PRINCIPAL EGAN
Principal Bill Egan NCHS

Dear NCHS Family,

Hello, April! Spring is here and we are excited for the warm weather and sunshine! With the fourth quarter beginning, days getting longer, and spring getting into full swing, many students and families begin to think about the end of the school year. This is the time of year when schedules get hectic with all the spring sports, school performances, testing, assemblies, and end-of-year celebrations that pack the calendar. Now is the time to continue to stay motivated, focused, and organized to finish the year strong.

The NCHS April calendar is full of activities, events, and celebrations. We begin with our Spring Break on Friday, April 8th, and return on Monday, April 18th. The April break should be homework-free. The only caveat is the occasional AP class with some required materials, but this will be the exception and not the rule. We hope everyone enjoys the break.

Poetry Fest, the Senior Art Show, Senior Music Showcase, Safe Driving Program, and Junior Prom are just a few exciting events in April. Thank you to our dedicated staff for making these events possible, to the PFA for continuing to bring valuable programs to our students, to our parent community for their commitment and support, and, last but not least, to our students for their hard work and dedication.

I look forward to seeing you at the many school events!

All the best,

Bill Egan, Principal
