We Love Our Volunteers!

The PFA’s Executive Board would like to thank the following Committee Chairs for donating their time and energy over the past two months to host events that help enrich the lives of our students, faculty and staff:

NCHS Alumni Roundtable (above right): Thank you to the Guidance Department and Chairs Bonny Plosker and Kim Quinn for hosting returning members of the NCHS class of 2022 who shared their thoughts about college admissions and tips on having a great first semester with the Class of 2023.
Special Recognition: Thank you to Chair Allison Rees for providing a delicious holiday breakfast spread to the entire faculty and staff. It was the perfect way to thank them for all that they do!
Midterm Exam Snacks: Thank you to Chairs Diane Fannon and Megan Stanley for supplying healthy and festive snacks to help students keep up their energy during exam days.
Teacher Appreciation Luncheon: Thank you to Chairs Anita Bausman and Marnie Zaffino (above left) for hosting a delicious staff luncheon to close out the first semester in style. This is one more way NCHS parents are able to show teachers how much we appreciate the difference they make each and every day in the lives of their students.

PFA Nominations for 2023-2024 School Year

The Nominating Committee will be meeting to fill positions for next year’s PFA Executive Board and Committee Chairs. We would love to see more people get involved!

Post Prom 2023

Did you know that RAM JAM is the major fundraiser for Post Prom?

Don't miss RAM JAM on Friday, Mar 31 at 7:00 PM! See our seniors lip sync, perform live music and yes — strut the catwalk too. The sign-up for models and skits opens on January 25 at 8:00 AM. Click HERE for more information about RAM JAM!

COUNSELING NEWS

10th Grade Networking Eventâ€”Creating a College Testing Plan

Thursday, Feb 2 | 9:30 AM

This program for sophomore parents focuses on creating an appropriate testing plan for junior year. Our school counselors will review the formats of the SAT/PSAT and compare them to the ACT to enable parents to help their children decide which option makes the most sense.

The counselors will be joined by guest speaker Whitney Longworth from Summit Educational Group. This will be a virtual event and will be recorded. Look for the zoom link prior to the event.
